A Bite of Home with Taisiia Hrynchyshyn

Taisiia arrived in St. Louis with her family from Ukraine and is pursuing her dream of opening a local bakery with a café where people can enjoy her creations.

Taisiia prepares her food with respect, using natural and fresh ingredients. We have been traveling with her to Ukraine to learn how to prepare “Medovik,” a traditional Ukrainian dessert, and macarons, a delicacy that Taisiia spent three years mastering using a French recipe.

Taisiia  trained with French pastry chefs and made her own modifications to these desserts, making them unique.
